Physical activity
Physical Activity is ANY activity involving the muscles of your skeleton that has you working harder than you would be by resting. By getting our bodies moving, we increase our chances of staying healthy. This includes keeping our hearts and other organs healthy, maintaining a healthy weight, building strong bones and muscles, and of course feeling good about ourselves.
Isn't Physical Activity just the same as Exercise?
NO! Exercise is planned physical activity with the goal of improving your fitness. Physical activity is any activity that has you working harder than you would be at rest. HOUSEHOLD
